Gospel, "classic" rock and country are my preferred styles of music.
After retiring from a successful career as a senior computer/telephony software engineer (Unix/Linux/Apps),
I teamed with my wife to travel internationally, teaching computer/telephony engineering and certification classes.
I'm also a former
(State of Colorado and National Registry certified)
Emergency Medical Technician (NR-EMT)
and volunteer firefighter.
Now, at 71, I keep busy with my ham radio hobby (amateur Extra class, first FCC licensed at age 11), still working with the US Air Force MARS specialized communications program (after 23-years with US Army MARS communications), teaching theology and working around our ranch.
I have been a member of the "Sons Of The American Revolution" (S.A.R.), as well.
A song about my ham radio hobby and my wife is at:

When I was 9-years old, my cousin gave me his Sears Silvertone acoustic guitar and that was the start of my adventure, first learning "Eleanor Rigby" (by the Beatles, of course).
My first electric guitar was a used $25 1959 Danelectro DC-1 (3011) that I converted to a six-string bass.
Soon after, I added a $100 1966 Fender Mustang guitar and a Heathkit TA-17 amplifier system (wish I still had all of those, wink).
My first rock band, Zebula, came along when I was in seventh-grade in 1967.
With extensive lessons, I was a drummer from 7th grade through college. in both marching and symphonic bands.
I've owned full Slingerland/Zildjian and Roland eDrum kits.
Then there are my instruments by
Fender, Gibson, Guild, Heritage and Martin.
All top end resources to play both off and on stage.
I also own and (rarely) play banjo and mandolin.
